Survey: Sleep Apnea Patients Worth about $2,400
Just under half of dentists responding to this survey say they treat sleep
apnea, and the average sleep apnea patient is worth about $2,400 in the first 9
months. "I wish everyone screened for this, and every course I teach emphasizes
this," said one doc.

Breaking news:
Dentists are deeply divided over the issue of mercury in amalgam fillings. In this
survey, 52% of dentists reported they are no longer using amalgam, while 48% still
are. Amalgam's long history goes up against its possible toxicity in a
continuing battle.
