Gary I am in Vietnam now and looking for a dentist to do veneers for me. Sounds like you are very happy with the work done for you. Would you mind letting me know where you had the work done.
Thanks Coral

I totally agree with Bob. $1100 is reasonable if they're well done. I don't agree with Bill. I prefer partial coverage whenever possible. The best cases are minimal prep with bond to on enamel.

I'm a big fan of E-max, not zirconia. The porcelain bond to the zirconia core is a problem. High breakage rate.

I just got back from Vietnam and I had 23 teeth crowned in Cercon Zirconia and for the first time in my life I have a great smile. My teeth were so crooked and I had a old metal crown on one of my front teeth and I had it for almost 40 years. I really dont look like the same person and I smile alot now and before NEVER. Zirconia is just awesome.. I know our dentist are at a huge disadvantage competing with clinic like the one I went to with all the regulation in America but I am so happy... I had four root canals, one post implant and 23 zirconia crowns and the cost was $3900.. I'll take it

Our Prosthodontic practice is essentially metal free with zirconia substructures our standard. We do very few partial veneers. By definition, a crown is a veneering of all tooth surfaces. We no longer use the term "crown" in our practice-just full veneers and partial veneers. Don't get me wrong. We fully inform our patients the extent of the preparation and the need to remove tooth structure in order to replace it properly. It's pleasing when our patients return and profess that they "just love" their "veneers." You just know that they are saying the same thing to their family and friends rather than having to explain that "mine are crowns"-UGGGGH! Our standard fee is $1495 with all work done in-office by three techs and me>

I think its great to save the patient money, but composites only last so long before they start wearing down. Veneers look better, last longer, and will serve the patient better than a composite veneer, in most cases that I have seen. IMO If you pay a great lab, you will spend 250-350 per veneer, so $650 is ludicrous, $1100 is a good fee. If you have been trained to do them properly, you deserve to be paid well also.

I think it is ludicrous to ask our patients to spend $1100 for a veneer. I charge $650 each for them. I also do not do many of them and opt instead to do chairside composites/bonding to enhance the look of the teeth. My patients prefer them because they are less expensive, look nice and do not require cutting of natural teeth.
