I grew up in a small town in Arizona, where i was restrained in a dental chair as a child and no matter how hard i try that memory and anxiety does not leave. Modern dentistry should not be painful. The proper amount of meds for the child or adult will allow both patient and dentist to have a comfortable experience...the residual effect of anesthesia and oral sedation wear off. So what is the problem with the video? I will never understand why dentists feel like going to them is like getting your hair done...it is not....oral sedation can dispell people's beliefs that painless dentistry is not an oxymoron!
