A Tennessee dental service company has accused a rival of libel. Both services provide elderly patients with mobile dental care.
The lawsuit filed by Marquis Mobile Dental Services alleges that Magnolia Mobile Dental Services sent customers a libelous memo alleging, among other things, that Magnolia is under criminal investigation for Medicaid fraud and that Magnolia tried to pass off its debts as Marquis’s.
Further complicating matters is the fact that the founder of Marquis used to be employed by Magnolia.
