Dentists Rave about Athletic Mouthguards (VIDEO)

In this survey, we asked dentists about mouthguards and the PPM. Fully nine out of ten dentists surveyed believe mouthguards can improve athletic performance.

That’s a claim made by the inventor of the Pure Power Mouthguard (PPM), a device designed with neuromuscular principles in mind. The goal of the PPM is to improve breathing (and therefore performance) by allowing the airways to relax.

  • You are unfortunately uniformed about PPM technology. Just released is a study from Reutgers University that in fact scientifically confirms that PPM increases athletes performance. Contact PPM for more information, and please offer a correction to this video in which you emphatically state there is no proof of any improvement utilizing PPM

  • “You are unfortunately uniformed…” I’m sure this is an honest typo, but I did get a rather vivid visual of Jim wearing an army uniform. Never happened, right? Humor is where you find it.

    For what it’s worth, scientific documentation in the literature is referenced right off of the PPM web site. I have not yet placed any PPMs, but after looking at their info have contacted PPM for an opportunity to work with them. My son who threw the discus and shot put at UC
