I agree that Bush was arrogant and he certainly was no fiscal conservative. The Republican party has outspent the Democrats significantly with Bush at the helm. Nevertheless, Obama certainly is not about the Change that he promised. The Democrats have received over 30 million from the United Auto Workers. Obama has said he would allow a bailout for Detroit. Kind of looks like status quo to me. I was not happy with the bailout of AIG so that the executives could get their million dollar bonuses. The US has overspent for years and now we have a new president that wants more control over the citizens than ever before. One more ridiculous item that Obama subscribes to is global warming. He understands that if you drive the citizens into hysteria, then he looks like the messiah and can bring all to salvation. Any purely logical person sees that Global warming is only about redistribution of wealth and more control over the citizens. To Dr. Waltzer. However, this election was about much more than just taxes. Our country has been torn apart by the arrogant, divisive, failed, and illegal policies of the Bush administration for the last eight years. McCain seemed to be offering more of the same.
