PA Regulations: Your Dentist Cannot Be Your Boyfriend

New guidelines in that state prohibit dentists and hygienists from dating (or exchanging sexual words with) patients they have treated within the past three months. The Pennsylvania Dental Association argues that consensual romantic relationships aren't unethical.

    In 1970 I was practicing dentistry in New York city. I was young.A new patient came to my office one day, I treated her for a few visits, then to her shock and amazement, I asked her out for a coffee. Long story short, we are married since 1971. So, I “dated ” my patient! Maybe it was “unethical” but for us it “basherit”, hebrew for “fated” or, meant to be!
