It's nice going to a hygiene office because there are no drill noises or bad smells. The level of care is actually improved since the hygienist has a business to run and also refers walk-in patients to a colleague/dentist. However, patients must see a dentist once a year. Hmmm. A woman can go to a midwife in this province, deliver her baby and she never once has to see a doctor. It's really about control and politics.............. Eventhough we spend the majority of time with the patient and find all of the problematic areas before they come into the room to do a 2 minute examination.
