In this survey by The Wealthy Dentist, doctors commented on how much they use video in dental practice marketing.

Only one in three dentists responding to this survey said they utilize video — which means two out of three dentists still need to learn about the power of internet video marketing.
“I use video testimonials, blogs, websites, and my books to target the cases I like best: implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, and complex dentistry. For this audience, video testimonials are sensational,” said a Virginia dentist.
“I’m curious about how many dentists use video effectively and how many are using highly optimized video. We find that when video is highly optimized (for search engines, etc.) and used effectively (correctly placed and consistent with user viewing preferences), the number of new patient inquiries increases,” said a dental marketing consultant
“I’ve decided to start asking patients for feedback and testimonials, and we’ve started to publish these testimonials,” said a California orthodontist.
These days, Internet dental marketing is about so much more than just dental websites.
Online patient video testimonials are a powerful tool. They’re sort of like word-of-mouth, offering social proof of the quality of the dental care you provide.
