Dental Care: Laser Use in Dentistry Catching On With Dentists

iLase dental laserDental lasers have been in use by dentists since 1994. But, it has only been in recent years that laser use has become popular with dentists.

The Wealthy Dentist conducted a survey asking dentists if they are using lasers to treat patients. 62% of respondents answered that they now use lasers as a part of their dental practice.

3/4 of the dentists who use laser therapy use it for both soft tissue and periodontal therapy.
