Dentists Support Fluoridated Water: Survey
Fluoridate Our Water, Say the Majority of Dentists
In our most recent survey, we asked dentists if they are in favor of water fluoridation. The clear majority (85%) support fluoridation, with many citing it as one of the top 10 public health innovations of the 20th century. The minority (15%) voiced concerns about the possible side effects of mass medication.
“There is a reason it was rated one of the top ten health policies of the century,” said one orthodontist. “Fluoride in excess is linked to several health problems,” cautioned a prosthodontist. “It is forced medication of questionable benefit,” said another dentist.
One dentist shared his anecdotal evidence in support of fluoridation. “I have had a practice in a small city for 25 years that does not have water fluoridation. This location is surrounded by many towns that are fluoridated. There is a drastically higher level of caries in children of the non-fluoridated city than the surrounding towns.”

Polly want a cracker (from the ADA and CDC)
We are in the 21 century if you have not notice and a large report that can out last spring stating health risk from water fluoridation. Read the NRC report and take some time and educate yourselves rather than repeating what you have been Told.
Come on, you supposed to be Educated health care givers.

Fluoridation has been a benefit to childrens oral health. I agree that if people don’t want it they shouldn’t have to have it. But then they shouldn’t get any tax money to fix their childrens teeth when they get decay. You can’t have it both ways.

Delta Dental uses my insurance money to Pay for the startup cost for the injection of Hydrofluorosilicic acid in to my drinking water to the tune of millions Nation wide.
Why can’t they use that money to give care directly to how needs it or better reimbursement to dentist that provide care?
