"I am on my fifth laser and been using them for the last 17 years," said a periodontist.

A dental implant dentist disagreed, saying, "The cost/benefit ratio seems unreasonable with lasers; my choice is the electro-surge."

    I appreciate the comment, but our survey is anonymous, so we’re actually not able to report dentists’ names – we simply don’t collect that information. (We find doctors are often more honest when anonymous.)

    But we also get lots of blog comments, and most doctors choose to include their name with their comment. For example, if you search our blog for “dental lasers,” you’ll find lots of comments from dentists.
