This reinforces the role of Dentist in the
Dr-Pt relationship...The role must be respected as we are the ones that are accountable to the pt. We are looked at for truthful answers regarding their health. All other levels of bureaucracies rest on us doing our job of looking and dispensing honest info and procedures for the pt. This is the PRACTICE of dentistry because new knowledge switches the base we used to operate on. WE PRACTICE ON PEOPLE not that we don't know what we are doing it's just jot a n absolute. Today''s practice can become tomorrow's malpractice...its true like it or not..The license to practice gives us (not some company or corporation) the trust that the individual pt places in us that we are doing our best for them..If we take this more seriously, we wouldn't so easily and voluntarily give it to a third party of any sort, but keep them in their place as an assisting mechanism ONLY. Just one Dr's opinion

Just one more piece of data adding to a growing mountain of evidence that the FDA is only a marketing tool for pharmaceutical drug manufacturers. The FDA conducts no studies for public safety itself and relies solely upon data supplied by the corporations and their products for which it approves for sale.

Gee, what's wrong with that picture?
