Dentists rely heavily on the advice of colleagues in making dental equipment purchases, found a survey of UK dentists.
Two out of three dentist respondents said that peer recommendation was a major factor in making purchasing decisions.
Here are some other interesting facts the dentist survey found:
- Dental seminars and lectures were cited by 61%
- 56% say they are using dental practice management software (up from 48% the previous year)
- The most common planned new purchase? Digital x-rays
- More onlinedental continuing education than last year
